Catering to adult couples and singles only, guests must be at least 18-years of age to stay at the Golden Crown Paradise Spa.
The Golden Crown Paradise Spa offers 154 Deluxe Rooms and 60 Crown Club Rooms all with private terraces or balconies, one king or two queen-size beds, cable TV, hairdryer, air conditioning and the usual hotel amenities. The Crown Club rooms additionally have king-size beds, in-room double Jacuzzi, bathrobes, slippers, CD player, stocked minibar, coffee maker, daily fresh flower arrangements, fruit basket, sparkling wine, private check-in, concierge service, afternoon hors d'oervres, one in-room gourmet dinner and one Cancun Queen Lagoon Cruise Lunch per stay.
The resort also has on-site shopping, a full service spa and sauna, an on-site dive shop, scuba diving and snorkeling lessons, a beauty salon and a nearby 18-hole golf course. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean and the maid service is excellent. Some feel that the beds are a little on the hard side for those who prefer a soft mattress, but the pros certainly outweigh any minor cons. Besides, you can always request extra blankets to create a cushion on top of the mattress. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, always smiling and they take time to chat with guests and develop a friendly rapport.
The beach is huge and very clean with plenty of room for all, so there's never any crowding. The pools are gorgeous and the entertainment staff offers plenty of playful activities throughout the day. Even if you aren't normally someone who'd participate in poolside games and antics, Carlos will get you into the partying mood and have you throwing your inhibitions to the wind! The Tiki bar at the pool is an absolute MUST to relax and enjoy a few drinks. And Jose the bartender makes it all the more entertaining. Before the end of your vacation, you'll feel like you're at a neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name. If you prefer to stay on the beach rather than poolside, never fear, The Breeze Beach Bar is there!
Your all-inclusive package allows you to enjoy food and drink at four restaurants and three bars plus the Paradise Buffet, snack bar and 24-hour room service with a wide variety of cuisine to satisfy even the pickiest appetites! The Old Barn has fantastic steak and chicken! Pier 12 serves seafood and pasta. Shangri-la is an a la carte gourmet restaurant with romantic ambiance where formal dress is required. Check out the Beer Garden on Casino Night for a fun time, otherwise, things are a little slow in the Beer Garden, but it's still friendly and relaxing just the same. La Place serves midnight snacks and espresso to night owls. There's also a free shuttle bus that takes you from the hotel into town to visit the local dance clubs and bars.
